How to be successful in PR

According to recent statistics, there is an increasing demand in PR professionals in these years. No matter people own small or big business, they need PR experts to communicate with the media, customers, employees etc. In the website of the StarPhoenix, entry-level salary is around $40000 a year, which can quickly increase $20000 after several years. For those who are very experienced, they can have six-figure salaries. Have you ever thought that PR can earn such a lot? True, if you want to have a fairly good income, then PR should be a right choice for you. Here are some important elements which I think are necessary in order to be a successful PR.

-Have strong communication skills
-Be articulate in written and spoken language
-Be confident
-Be able to learn quickly
-Think and response quickly
-Be persuasive
-Have an outgoing personality

Good post, but it still needs some editing. Your first sentence is "passive voice" -- "there is" is the giveaway. Instead, how about saying:

Recent statistics show an increasing demand for public relations professionals.

That's shorter and easier to read.

Also, put commas in big numbers (e.g., $40,000) to make them easier to read.
