According to recent statistics, there is an increasing demand in PR professionals in these years. Good post, but it still needs some editing. Your first sentence is "passive voice" -- "there is" is the giveaway. Instead, how about saying:
Recent statistics show an increasing demand for public relations professionals.
That's shorter and easier to read.
Also, put commas in big numbers (e.g., $40,000) to make them easier to read.
